I.W. Theophilus

Hello, my name is Emmanuel William Phiri, and I write under the pen name I.W. Theophilus.

With an academic background in science, personal projects in technology, and a deep passion for the liberal arts, I am fascinated by the intersections of philosophy, science, theology, psychology, and technology.

Through this platform, I aim to share well-researched articles, thought-provoking quotes, and engaging videos on life, God, and everything in between—explored through a philosophical lens deeply rooted in the Christian faith.

While I am Catholic, the focus of this website is Mere Christianity. This term, popularized by one of my favorite thinkers, C.S. Lewis, refers to the core, essential truths of Christianity that unite Catholics, Protestants, and Orthodox Christians—without getting caught up into denominational debates or doctrinal differences. It’s not a watered-down version of the faith but a celebration of the shared foundation that binds believers together.

For reflections on Scripture and theology-focused topics, I invite you to visit my other blog, Dear Theophilus.
